Part of the art that I want to show is the attention to the handling of text on a website. Have you ever tried to read large portions of text that go across the whole page? Not only is that a poor layout it's also poor designing for the web. While I was pursuing a BFA project I discovered that it was harder to read text on the screen as apposed to reading on the page.

On paper there is ink burned into the page and when read the light bounces off the white of the paper allowing you to read. On the screen it is different. Many pixels of light come out of the screen, which wears on the eyes quickly. What's the sollution?

One article I read suggests that rewriting with the above information in mind so that only the basic information is given will help. I also beleve that if you keep the lines of text shorter it will be easier to read. Because proving legability is difficult to impossible, I failed in my BFA thesis. But the information I gained outways any kind of cred-entials I may have gotten.
